COVID-19 Update - Review Policies & Procedures

Mindful Touch

Greetings, friends and clients!

First things first!!! I, the Mindful Touch Team, appreciate you all so very much! The pandemic has been such a challenge for so many people, and we want more than anything to continue to serve our community with our healing massage services. Please know that we are doing the best we can to balance out all the risks and benefits of working in a close personal contact industry during a worldwide pandemic. Thank you all for your cooperation and kind consideration of the decisions I have to make as a business owner.

Secondly: As many of you know, Burke County is experiencing increased community spread of COVID-19. In recent weeks, MT has experienced an uptick in cancelations and reschedules due to clients having been exposed to people who have been diagnosed with COVID, and clients who have been diagnosed with COVID. Your honesty and integrity in these matters are greatly appreciated!

As a reminder, in order to attempt to keep our clients and massage therapists as healthy as possible, and still provide you with our high quality massage and spa services, we are following all Burke County Health Department guidelines for personal care service businesses. In addition to following local, regional, and state laws, I have implemented policies and procedures that are designed to help limit exposure as much as possible. At this time, I am asking that you take a moment to review our policies and procedures. You can find them at https://www.mindfulmassagemorganton.com/covd-19-pause.

Finally: I leave you with a quote that gives me feelings of hope and reminds me that, no matter our differences, we are all part of the human species, who share different, yet common experiences. Understanding our common suffering can lead us to take actions toward a better future for all of humanity. I believe cultivating compassion as an intentional practice is one of the most important things we can strive for in this lifetime! I hope we can come through this experience with more compassion for one another and that we choose to turn our common suffering into HOPE for our future!!!

“Our human compassion binds us the one to the other – not in pity or patronizingly, but as human beings who have learnt how to turn our common suffering into hope for the future.” – Nelson Mandela
